I had a problem with a few views that some of the column values became slightly offset. This also worked when searching on the view. I found one solution.

Turning off "Show Response Docs in a Hierarchy" helped.

This seems to get rid of the extra ecblank.gif or (ecblank) file that is displayed.

If you have response documents, this doesn't help off course.

Another solution is to create all your views using HTML.
