When accessing complicated databases the error "Insufficient memory too many design elements" comes up. Here is a way around it.

Insufficient memory - too many design elements or

Insufficient memory - too many design elements (desk design pool)

This can be fixed by increasing the size of your desktop cache on Notes.

To do this in R4: Right click on your Notes Workspace's background.

Select Workspace Properties.

Select the white on blue i and increase the space you have allowed to 10 Mb or more.

Compact the workspace cache for good measure.

If this does not work, remove the database icon and re-open it.

Try again.

To do this on R5 you need to select the Propeller head instead of the blue i.
