To make sure an xpages xsp.properties file exists, change something in the xpages tab of the application properties.
To do this:
- Doubleclick on "Application Properties" of the database design elements. (it is the last option below Resources and Composite Applications).
- Click on the "XPages" tab (it is below the Basic Properties screen between Design and Advanced)
- Tick "Display XPages runtime error page. (untick and then retick if it is already selected)
- Click the disc icon to save the settings.
This will have created the xsp.properties file.
The best way to find the xsp.properties file for an xpage application is to do a Search->File in the lotus notes designer client, and enter xsp.properties into the File name patterns field.
Click Search.
The xsp.properties file should appear under the tab at the bottom Search -> WebContent -> WEB-INF .
