When opening a lotus notes database, the client crashed. I was opening it using Notes 6.01. I tried opening it in 5.04 and the same thing happened. Opeing the database by right clicking and then going to a view worked ok.

Opening the about page using the client had the same effect.

I deleted the about page, this worked ok.

I then tried to open the database again and I saw the message "Special database object cannot be located".

This was because the launch options had Open "About database" document selected.

Changing this to "Restore as last used by user" fixed this.
