Document Subject: Quickr - Make a quick copy of a place
Hint Short Cut: Add this to your code & documentation to help you find this page.
http://#QuickrCopyPlace or http://A555F9/nn.nsf/ByAlias/QuickrCopyPlace

If you want to make a quick copy of a place, including custom themes and content members etc, you can copy the directory on the server and then register the place.

If you have a place in the directory:

C:\IBM\Lotus\Domino\data\LotusQuickr\Unity

and you want to copy it to Unity2 then copy all the files over. NB I close down the server before doing this. Not sure if it is necessary, but best to stick with what works.

The files you need are:

 search.ft

 Contacts1.nsf

 Main.nsf

 Search.nsf

You can also make a copy of main.nsf if you are going to play around with a design.

After copying the directories, restart the server and then use the command:

load qptool register -p unity2

or the directory name.

I am not sure how this would affect doc links as the databases will be replicas, but web links will be different.
