Really good session on JSON and Dojo which I am going to check out.
Not such good information on Composite applications, apparently they cannot be stored in templates and used in multiple instances. This is the problem of websphere and portals replacing Lotus Notes which IBM have not got the hang of yet. Lotus Notes can be used to write templates of web apps or Lotus Notes client applications and it can be used to write portals, so why should Notes learn Websphere if the scaling is not a big issue?
In the Q&A a developer ask confirmation for the non-Eclipse Lotus Notes 8 client, which surprised me. if there are 2 versions of Notes 8 client, I think this will be a mistake.
Bill Buchan did an entertaining session on top 30 lotusscript tips. I really must learn about lists and lists of classes.
The social software session was very slick, showing dogear in IBM and also you can enter your own dogear on the lotusphere 2007 delegate website or a link to the lotusphere 2007 lotus connections beta - on this you need to enter your full username xxxxxx@ls2007online.net .
This runs on wasi, not notes and I am still a bit worried of the lack of authentification. I think there will be a Lotus Notes version of this very soon.
Looks very good though.
I am off to Epcot for a bargain (after 4pm) ticket of $31. Bye.
