In Notes 5 we can now copy and paste multiple columns. Hooray. Here are some more view column tricks for developers.

To create a new column at the end of a view, just double click in the grey title bar at the end.

To copy a column, select the column by clicking on the header.

To select more columns, hold down the ctrl key and click on the extra columns.

To select a few columns click on the first, and then hold down shift and click on the last column.

To paste columns, select the column that will be after the new columns, and do a ctrl+v.

To paste columns at the end of a view, create a temporary column at the end by double clicking, then do a ctrl+v and then delete the temporary column.

Copying columns can cause the new column to mirror / copy / duplicate the old column:

To fix this go to properties of the new column, click on the propeller hat, and blank out the name field and click on the tick box and the name will be reset. save the view and check it again.

British book of the year 2000. Great book, hard to put down, but I nearly threw it away half way through. You'll know why when you read it.
