If you are using Lotus Notes 5 or before agents cannot open databases on another server, in Notes 8.5 there is a field on the server document which needs filling in.




 

The Server document section is Server Access. (security tab, third section down on the left).

The field is captioned "Trusted Servers".

Add the Full abbreviated name in this field.
