When a user access a database, which server's NAB (name and address book) is checked fro group membership?

It seems to be the server that you have set in the location document as the "home/mail server".

I always thought it was ALWAYS the server that the database was on.

Of course if the name and address books are not replicas, then the NAB on the server that the database is on would have to be checked.

On web, you do not have a location document so the NAB on the same server is checked.
