This error scared the life out of me as it appeared the next day after creating a quickr place for a bid, which was needed there and then.

I tried opening the place using notes client etc and the database main.nsf in the place's directory opened fine.

After googling around i found a line that said it was to do with allowing or grant access to everyone to reader editor but the place it self did not have the

acl set properly.

So I opened the database with http://<site>/LotusQuickr/<placedir>/main.nsf?opendatabase&login  url

and this worked fine.

So basically force a login.

To fix it permanently mess around with the grant access to everyone settings and possibly the database ACL.
